How solar heat enters a room
Sunlight is made of visible light, infrared and ultraviolet. When it passes through glass and hits surfaces, it turns into heat. Solar control film reflects and absorbs part of that energy before it gets in.
Realistic expectations
Film helps with direct solar gain. It does not cool air, replace ventilation, or act as insulation in winter unless a specific product is designed and tested for that.
Performance varies by film and by glazing. We only quote figures from the manufacturer specification of the film we recommend for your windows, after a survey.
How it works
Send us photos and a few details. We discuss what you want the film to achieve, survey and measure suitable glazing, then professionally install the approved film internally, finishing with cleaning, care instructions and handover.
